The LegalXML Member Section received five
proposals in response to our request for proposals to provide consulting
services to Member Section technical committees.  The five proposals came
from:

 

eCorridor for the services of Eric Tingom

Electronic Commerce Connection, Inc. for
the services of Betty Harvey

IDEAlliance for the services of Dianne
Kennedy

Western Illinois University for the services of Mr. Hok Sik Kim and Professor Laurence L. Leff

<xmlLegal> for the services of
Winchel “Todd” Vincent III

 

The LegalXML Member Section Steering
Committee is recommending to OASIS that it undertake negotiations with three of
the offerors – eCorridor, Electronic Commerce Connection, Inc., and <xmlLegal>
-- with the objective of choosing one consultant for the initial task to be
performed.  We hope that process can proceed quickly.

 

On behalf of the LegalXML Member Section,
I express our heartfelt appreciation to all five offering organizations for the
proposals submitted.  They were all helpful to us in understanding better
the tasks to be performed as well as in assessing the qualifications of the offerors.
