I personally believe that this approach responds
to most of our concerns. I am sure that other members of the Member
Section Steering Committee will let us both know if they disagree with my
assessment.
There are two issues we raised that have
not been addressed, to the best of my knowledge:

the continuing authority
of our Member Section to determine the IP policy of all of our Member Section TCs.
This authority was granted to us in the ROP under which we joined OASIS
and we want to be able to maintain a consistent IP policy across our TCs.
This has no possible adverse impact for OASIS – any three persons
desiring to start a TC with a different IP policy can do so outside of our
Member Section.

automatically establishing
the Restricted RF policy as applicable to our Member Section TCs without the
need to vote on the matter. We already have roughly this same policy in
place for all our TCs. Why do we have to vote to keep it?
