I
failed to notice that I have a schedule conflict and cannot attend Wednesday's
Steering Committee conference call. (It is an all-day training session; if the
instructor will allow it, I will try to join the call-I will ask.)
This
means I can't serve as chair in John's absence. I hope someone else
will do so.
There
is an additional item for the Agenda: The Integrated Justice Technical
Committee has submitted a reimbursement request for meeting costs for their
group in Las Vegas. They met at the Mirage and paid the relatively high rates charged for
space, screen, power drops, and so forth. The total request is for $600.98.
I hope
to find time to send you a summary of the draft reimbursement policy, so the
distinct policy issues can be isolated for separate votes.

I am sorry I failed to mention this conflict-it is one of the few that I
have with the current meeting time in 2005
