One issue I would like to see on an agenda for an upcoming meeting of
the SC is the possibility of the ABA representative to OASIS and
LegalXML OASIS being a member ex-officio of the Steering Committee.
Several sections of the ABA are beginning to realize that a presence in
LegalXML could be beneficial and my term as ABA rep will expire in June,
after which Rolly Chambers will be the new ABA rep. As he has informally
indicated to me, he would be happy to be a member of the SC in his
capacity as ABA Rep.
