Here is the quarterly status report for the LegalXML Integrated Justice TC.


During the first quarter, the OASIS LegalXML Integrated Justice Technical Committee (TC) focused on:
1. Holding monthly conference calls in January, February and March and preparing to meet face-to-face in New Orleans in April.

2. Establishing a subcommittee chaired by Scott Came to develop a GJXDM Reference Document Methodology, Naming and Design Rules (MNDR) specification.  This deliverable provides a standardized methodology for the development and definition of GJXDM conformant Reference Exchange documents.  This document leverages the UBL 1.0 specifications, several existing best practices documents developed by members of the TC, and other TC artifacts and source materials.  It is currently in working draft and will be discussed at the April face-to-face meeting.

3. Developing a white paper documenting how to apply UBL components/concepts to the GJXDM.  The TC will also discuss this document at the April face-to-face meeting.

4. Submitting two GJXDM-related presentations for the OASIS Symposium - both of which were accepted.


5. Improving collaboration with the XSTF.  Ellen Perry will represent the LegalXML IJTC on the XSTF.



TC efforts for the second quarter of 2005 will include:


1. Presenting two GJXDM-related presentations at the OASIS Symposium.


2. Holding the face-to-face in April and monthly conference calls in May and June.


3. Finalizing the MNDR specification.


4. Finishing the applying UBL concepts to the GJXDM white paper.


5. Developing additional Information Exchange Packages and best practices documents as determined at the April face-to-face meeting.
