The April financials show that we have underspent our own
budget by $5212.34 year to date.



We started the year with a carry forward of $62,575.70
intending to reduce that balance considerably through the hiring of the
consultant particularly.  We have
only managed to spend $2,566.26 more than we have earned so far this year.  Our current balance is $60,009.44; we
have an estimated deferred revenue balance of $12,397.38 (John Ruegg – the
LegalXML portion of the dues of OASIS members participating in LegalXML are
prorated over the course of the entire year; this is the amount of already paid
dues that will be credited to our account by the end of the year.)  So, we have an effective balance of
$72,406.82.



Eric Tingom reports that he has used only $17,000 of his
consulting contract amount of $75,000 over two years.  We should see some step up in his
activity over the next two months as we reach the crescendo of Court Filing
Blue. 



I attach some materials for John Ruegg to familiarize him
with the state of affairs of the Steering Committee.  I am asking OASIS to substitute him for
Dallas Powell on the Steering Committee list.
