At the end of the third quarter last year, the LegalXML Member Section had earned revenues of $39,903.  We based our spending plan on an
assumption that we would continue to bring in that level of income.  The most recent report that I received
from Cathy Mayo projects that we will receive a little under $20,000 in revenue
this year – about half of what we anticipated.  The only explanation that comes to my
mind is that we have lost half of our members, or at least half of our high
dues paying members, over the past year.  That does not square with my
experience.  Could you and Cathy
please look into this matter to see if you can provide us with an explanation?  We have a Steering Committee meeting on
Wednesday at 1:00 pm Eastern.  It
would be nice if we had some sort of preliminary analysis by then.  I know that you and Cathy are busy people
and that this request may not be possible for you to meet.  Thanks for any assistance you can
provide.
