LegalXML coordination with NIEM

We discussed in the Steering Committee meeting yesterday the fact that we have multiple LegalXML TCs considering the use of the NIEM.  However, it is not clear how, as a Member Section, we can be kept up to date on NIEM and contribute to and provide feedback on the model.  In the past, the Integrated Justice TC took the lead in providing guidance regarding how LegalXML would use the GJXDM.  Several of us think we need a similar coordination role with NIEM.  Given the direction of the ECF TC, it might make sense for the ECF TC to do this - or we may want to consider whether this is a new role for the IJ TC.  

What do you think?  Would you be willing to be the official liaison with NIEM?  If not, who do you think could do this?
