Hi Jim,

I've received your invoice for $10,625 and have a few questions.

I find in the archives a  SC vote [1] to approve use of your
outstanding contracted service in support of Arizona in the amount of
$6800.  George's motion suggests further discussion/meeting if
additional funding is necessary, but my quick review could not find
record of that.
Your message below suggests there is also work done
for federal bankruptcy courts, but I can find no SC authorization for
that work, or discussion of it in the ECF TC mail list.  Pointers to
the meetings, notes or emails would be appreciated.

Following the routine for payment, and addressing some of the earlier
concerns may I ask for:

- A pointer to the deliverable from the work.  It is important to
demonstrate the value delivered to the LegalXML community for their
expended dues.  It will be useful to dispel any possible misperception
that this is work serving one client or providing feedback that
could/should come freely from the public comment component of the TC
Process.

- The minuted SC vote to accept the deliverable as what they asked for
and representing fair value for their funding.  Prior to that vote, I
recommend you provide the SC a breakdown of how/where the work was
expended to give them their comfort when voting for your payment.  The
exact nature of the documentation varies by project, but a simple
guideline to observe is providing the level of detail you or your
company would expect to answer the inevitable "what do I get for that
much" questions before sending a $6-10k check.
