(PR) 15-day Public Review for 4 Service Component Architecture Committee Specification Drafts
The OASIS Service Component Architecture / J (SCA-J) TC members have produced four updated Committee Specification Drafts (CSD) and submitted them for 15-day public reviews: Service Component Architecture SCA-J Common Annotations and APIs Specification Version 1.1 Committee Specification Draft 06 / Public Review Draft 04 15 August 2011 TestCases for the SCA-J Common Annotations and APIs Specification Version 1.1 Committee Specification Draft 02 / Public Review Draft 02 24 October 2011 Service Component Architecture POJO Component Implementation Specification Version 1.1 Committee Specification Draft 04 / Public Review Draft 04 15 August 2011 TestCases for the SCA POJO Component Implementation Specification Version 1.1 Committee Specification Draft 02 / Public Review Draft 02 15 August 2011 Specification Overview: The SCA-J Common Annotations and APIs Specification defines a Java syntax for programming concepts defined in the SCA Assembly Model Specification. It specifies a set of APIs and annotations that can be used by Java-based artifacts described by other SCA specifications such as the POJO Component Implementation Specification. The SCA POJO Component Implementation Specification Version 1.1 extends the SCA Assembly Model by defining how a Java class provides an implementation of an SCA component, including its various attributes such as services, references, and properties, and how that class is used in SCA as a component implementation type. It requires all the annotations and APIs as defined by the SCA-J Common Annotations and APIs specification. The TestCases represent a series of tests that an SCA runtime must pass in order to claim conformance to the requirements of the SCA Java Common Annotations and APIs specification or to the SCA POJO Component Implementation Specification Version 1.1. Public Review Period: The public review starts Monday, 21 November 2011 and ends Tuesday, 6 December 2011. These specifications were previously submitted for public reviews [2]. These 15-day reviews are limited in scope to changes made from the previous review. Changes are highlighted in the diff-marked PDF files [3]. This is an open invitation to comment. OASIS solicits feedback from potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of its technical work.
