Welcome to OASIS News, a bi-weekly update of announcements, accomplishments, and activities for the international open standards consortium. Members submit questions for Board candidates In advance of the upcoming elections for OASIS Board of Directors, members are asked to suggest questions for candidates on issues regarding the management and direction of the Consortium. Staff will compile and summarize the questions and provide an anonymous, representative sample to all candidates. Their responses will be posted online. Questions must be received by 3 May. _______________________ OASIS Standard vote opens for TGF Balloting for the Transformational Government Framework (TGF) V1.0 is now underway and will close 25 Apr. TGF is a practical, “how to” standard for implementing an effective program of technology-enabled change at national, state or local government levels. The specification was developed by representatives of OASIS Foundational Sponsor, Microsoft, as well as Oracle, Belgian SPF Finances, and others. All organizational members of OASIS are encouraged to vote on TGF; those who wish to discuss the ballot may do so through . _______________________ S-RAMP V1.0 public review begins The SOA Repository Artifact Model and Protocol (S-RAMP) defines a common data model for SOA repositories as well as an interaction protocol to facilitate the use of common tooling and sharing of data. This public review ends 11 May. _______________________ Emergency MS extends deadline for StC nominations The nomination period for the OASIS Emergency Interoperability (EI) Member Section (MS) Steering Committee has been extended to 29 Apr. Three seats are open for nominations. All EI MS participants are invited to nominate qualified candidates and/or consider serving on the Steering Committee. _______________________ OASIS workshop added to the EIC Conference Program Experts from both the OASIS PMRM and PbD-SE TCs come together at the upcoming European Identity Cloud Conference on 14 May to pass along a valuable analytic template that can jump-start the use case analysis critical to implementing ‘Privacy by Design’ within applications. The workshop is open to all conference attendees. _______________________ OASIS to join privacy panel at Forecast 2013 Dawn Jutla, chair of the PbD-SE TC and OASIS Board Director, will participate in a panel session at this ODCA event on cloud adoption.
