2013 Board and TAB Election Results

We are pleased to announce the results of the 2013 elections for the
OASIS Board of Directors and Technical Advisory Board (TAB). [1]

Martin Chapman of Oracle was elected; Peter Brown (Individual member),
Mike DeNicola of Fujitsu, Dave Ings of IBM, and Sanjay Patil of SAP
were reelected to the Board of Directors. Their two-year seats start
at the Board meeting 30-31 July in Boston, MA.

They join continuing Board members, Frederick Hirsch of Nokia, Jim
Hughes of Microsoft, Gershon Janssen (Individual member), Dawn Jutla
of St. Mary’s University, Paul Lipton of CA Technologies, and Zhexuan
Song of Huawei, whose seats expire in 2014

Ashok Malhotra of Oracle was elected and Patrick Durusau (Individual
member) was reelected to the TAB and join continuing TAB members
Jacques Durand of Fujitsu and Jun Qian of Chinese Primeton Technology
Company at the TAB meeting 30-31 July in Boston.

The consortium extends our deepest appreciation to outgoing Board
director Abbie Barbir of Bank of America, who served since 2011.
Finally, we offer our thanks to all OASIS members who participated in
the 2013 election process--by nominating candidates, volunteering to
serve, evaluating nominees, and casting ballots.

OASIS continues to be distinguished by our open election process and
enriched by our member participation and the quality of our leadership
as we look forward to our continued success.
