Proposed Submission of ODF v1.2 to ISO/IEC JTC 1

The member comment period has closed for the proposal from the OASIS OpenDocument TC to submit the OASIS Standard, Open Document Format for Office Applications ("OpenDocument" or "ODF") v1.2, to ISO/IEC JTC 1, as a proposed ISO/IEC International Standard, under its PAS process.  OASIS will transmit the standard to JTC 1's Secretariat, and request that a ballot be started, no sooner than November 3, 2013.

Our Liaison Policy provide for a minimum 15-day waiting period, after this notice, to permit any member objections to the proposed terms, and a  maximum waiting period of 45 days.  In this case, OASIS plans to submit ODF v1.2 on the terms stated in the member review notice above, with no changes.  Any questions or objections about this decision should be directed to the undersigned no later than November 1, 2013.
