OData TC publishes Committee Specification

The OData Extension for Data Aggregation 4.0 adds basic grouping functionality to the main OData Protocol, which was recently approved as an OASIS Standard. Based on REST, OData enables information to be accessed from a variety of sources. Congratulations to OData TC chairs, Ram Jeyaraman of Microsoft and Ralf Handl of SAG AP, and to all TC members for accomplishing this milestone.

Public Reviews begin for VIRTIO, TGF, CloudAuthZ

Virtual I/O Device (VIRTIO) 1.0 describes the "virtio" family of devices, which allows the guest to use standard drivers and discovery mechanisms. This specification will allow virtual environments and guests to have a straightforward, efficient, standard and extensible mechanism for virtual devices. This public review ends 14 Apr.

Transformational Government Framework (TGF) 2.0 is a practical "how to" standard for the design and implementation of an effective program of technology-enabled change at national, state or local government level. It describes a managed process of ICT-enabled change within the public sector and its relationships with the private and voluntary sectors. This public review ends 14 Apr.

Cloud Authorization Use Cases (CloudAuthZ) 1.0 develops enhanced models for managing authorizations and entitlements in SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS contexts and enables contextual attributes and contextual entitlements sets to be delivered to Policy Enforcement Points in real time. This public review ends 26 Apr.
