2017 Board and TAB Election Schedule

The 2017 schedule for the Nomination and Election of the Board of Directors and Technical Advisory Board is now posted at https://www.oasis-open.org/board/election-process with a summary table below.

This year five Board seats are available for nomination with the expiration of the seats held by Peter Brown (Individual member), Martin Chapman of Oracle, Dave Ings of IBM, Sanjay Patil of SAP and Jenny Wang of AT&T.

 Candidates selected through this process will join continuing Board members, 

 Frederick Hirsch of Fujitsu, Ram Jeyaraman of Microsoft, Gershon Janssen (Individual member), Dawn Jutla of St. Mary’s University, Paul Lipton of CA Technologies and Monical Palmirani of University of Bologna.

This year three TAB seats are available for nomination with the expiration of the seats held by Patrick Durusau, Ashok Malhotra (Individual members) and Kevin Mangold of NIST.

TAB candidates selected through this process will join continuing TAB member Jacques Durand of Fujitsu.

All OASIS members are encouraged to consider serving on one of the boards.  And all members are welcome to participate in the election process by nominating candidates that reflect their interests, posing questions to the candidates,  and participating in the Member voting process.

Nominations closed 21:00 hrs, 9:00pm US EDT (UTC -4). Nominated Candidates required to confirm acceptance before this deadline.

Wednesday 31 May

BoD and TAB Ballots opened

Wednesday 28 June

Elections closed 21:00 hrs,

9:00pm US EDT (UTC -4) 

Thursday 27 July

New Board and TAB seated
