US Tech Advisory for new ISO Sharing Economy TC

OASIS Members:

ISO is starting a Technical Committee to define international standards for the sharing economy.ÂOASIS is partnering with ANSI to organize corporate support forÂa United States Technical Advisory Group. Any organization that is headquartered or has a branch office in the US is eligible to participate in the US TAG.

ISO/TC 324 intends to set global requirements for platform operators across Peer-to-Peer industries. Consumer protection, management, resourcing, and risk control are all in scope.ANSI and OASIS are hosting a stakeholders call on March 19 to review ISO's plans and discuss US TAG participation benefits, requirements, and membership dues.
