Last Call for new OASIS Distinguished Contributor Nominations

With our summer face-to-face meeting cancelled by the pandemic and all hopes dashed forÂin-person presentations this year, we will be announcing the 2020 Distinguished Contributor Awards in a virtual event 8 December. Watch for details!

This is your last call for nominations for this honor. Nominations are accepted all yearÂlong, but must be received by  by 31 October in order to be considered for this year's award. Past nominations remain on recordÂand in consideration, so you need not, but may, update any nominations you may have made in the past.Â

The Distinguished Contributor AwardÂdesignation is awarded to a select group of OASIS members who have made significant contributions to the advancement of open standards and/or open source projects.ÂOASIS Distinguished Contributor status is held in perpetuity, similar to a "Lifetime Achievement Award" or "Hall of Fame". Thus, an individual will not be named as an OASIS Distinguished Contributor more than once.
