Notes from the KVDB convener call, held 12th November (US), 13th November (China) 2013

Attending: Jieping Wang, CESI (convener), Ram Jeyaraman (Microsoft)

1. Reviewed the agenda.  

2. Noted that the draft charter received no comments during the call for comment period. Jieping to send an email to the list in place of a comment resolution file.  

3. Reviewed the time line and TC Admin actions that will be taken prior to the first meeting. 

Noted that with the first meeting now set to 27 December, the next steps will be: 

- Call for Participation to be sent 13 November 

- Call for nominations for chair to be sent 18 November 

- Reminder of last date to joing with voting rights at first meeting to be sent 20 December 

- List of participants who joined in time to qualify for voting rights at first meeting to be sent to TC mailing list on 22 December 

4. Reviewed resources that will be available to the TC when the call for participation goes out and resources that can be provided after the TC starts. 

5. Discussed actions OASIS will take to help promote the TC and solicit participation.
