RE: [obix-map] Alliance Opportunity
I can do this if it's on Tuesday at 9
Eastern.

I cannot do the Chicago meeting.

  [obix-map] Alliance Opportunity

I am preparing for a conference
call at 9:00 EST M or T of next week to begin discussions with a group with
very string interesting perceptions on how personal customer experience can be
tailored with remembered profiles to build brand loyalty. The group is Hotel
Technology Next Generation (HTNG) and one of their current projects is to
extend the current "We remember that good customer Joe like a cold Heineken in
his room within moments of arrival" to include profiles of room behaviors:
  temperature, lighting, water, TV Station...

They of course, have other
projects, and anticipate a focus on larger spaces with similar business
interactions in the next couple years.

Right now, I am pitching
relationships to them.  They may sign on to oBIX, assign staff to
participate in oBIX work, and definitely have some very ambitious goals for
interactions between control systems and the Enterprise.

Two calls for
  participation:

-
If anyone thinks that he would
be a strong voice for oBIX on the conference all, you are of course welcome.
  Anto?

-
They are having one of their
face-to-faces in Chicago on Feb 2, 3.  Is there anyone
who is going to be their who would be willing/able to pitch a relationship? We
would get maybe 15 minutes on the agenda, an ability to listen to them, and
networking in the evening if you are still there.

Let me
  know

These guys read like a who's who
of the hotel industry.  CEO/CTO type participation. Check 'em
  out.

Oh, and I *really* want them to be convinced to send
someone to BuilConn for the Enterprise
panel.
