ODF InterOp Demo Team Meeting - Today's Agenda
All,

Status Summary:

Email list established at
Bart has established wiki page for us
at:

http://wiki.oasis-open.org/oic/ODF12InteropDemo
---- Team members who are not members
of the OASIS ODF Interop and Conformance TC will need to join the TC in
order to have access.

We are currently focused on discussion
and decision-making regarding Bart's proposal, subject = 'Signature Example'.
It can be found here: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/odf-interop-tech/email/archives/201006/msg00003.html

For planning purposes we agreed that
the length of the overall presentation(s) and demo(s) will be a minimum
of one hour.
Audience definition include the attendees
of the OpenOffice.org conference, and media.
There are now (5) ODF 1.2 implementations
under consideration: lpOD Python Library; Symphony; ODF Toolkit for Java;
OpenOffice; KOffice (including Nokia mobile device).
Inge Wallin and/or Jos van den Oever
will represent KOffice.
Carol Geyer, OASIS Communications Manager,
will lead the preparation and media planning in support of the InterOp
Demo event.
Jane Harnad and Don Harbison met with
Peter Szakal and Attila Suhajda on Friday, June 18th. Peter is the Chair
of the OpenOffice.org Conference 2010, and Attila is on the host committee.
They have agreed to support the ODF 1.2 InterOp Demo during the conference
week. We discussed the technical requirements; e.g.internet connectivity,
video projection, audio amplification, etc. The recommendation is to stage
the event at the University due to the more flexible infrastructure support
compared to the House of Parliament. We will reconvene Friday, June 25th
and continue to refine the details.
Today's Agenda

Review key assumptions in the overall
workflow of Bart's Signature Example as the basic structure for the demo.
Confirm Scenario Partners: Louvre Labs,
and FEDICT for participation/endorsement - Charles Schulz, and Bart Hanssens
Status of Dutch Parliament as additional
scenario partner - Jos van den Oever
