Properties and elements/attributes

In my understanding, properties of ODF are conceptual 
things.  They may be represented by elements, or they 
may represented by attributes.

However, ODF1.0 confuses properties and elements/attributes 
often.  For example, in 15.3.8, the relationship between 
the style:dynamic-spacing attribute and the dynamic-spacing 
property is not clearly specified.  The reader thinks 
that s/attribute/property/ or s/property/attribute/ should 
be applied.

Ideally, for each property, please explicitly specify 
which element or attribute captures the property.
