text:lists vs text:numbered-paragraph (ODF all versions)

In 4.3.6 we learn:

Note: Numbered paragraphs form an equivalent, alternative way of
specifying lists. A list in <text:list> representation can be converted
into a list in <text:numbered-paragraph> representation and vice versa.

Standards should not contain needlessly redundant features; one of the
these mechanisms should be removed.

(Note from an implementation POV for new implementations it will be
trivial to map, on loading, these "equivalent" features; for the same
reason old software will work as-is with a revised format that settles
on one method of representing these things).
