The <table:consolidation> element defines the consolidation of data from
several independent table ranges. A new table range is calculated by
applying a mathematical function to all cells in the source table ranges
that have the same relative address within these ranges.

- what is a "consolidation of data"? I cannot find a formal terms and
definitions section explaining this ...

- what is the normative test for table ranges to verify they and
"several" and "independent" ?

- a new table range "is calculated". Is that all?
