RSS 1.0

Hmmm ... is this list messed up again? Let's hope this goes through ...

The other day I was looking again at the RSS 1.0 spec, because it is my 
belief we can learn a lot from it. Reading it again, that belief is 
strengthened. I suggest we should consider it for the requirements doc, 
and later (hopefully soon) the actual proposal.

What I (really) like:

1) their design goals
2) their notion of "modules", as well as the logic behind it
3) their distinction between "simple" and "rich" extension content

If I had my druthers, much of this would be in ODF 1.2 in some form, 
with little change.
