I agree that there are some other fields that are useful in headers and 
footers, while others aren't. Since we do not have a chapter that 
contains only all fields that are useful in haeders/footers, I've change 
this to

"These fields are particularly useful in  headers and footers. E.g. if 
you insert a page number field into a footer, the current page number is 
displayed on every page on which the footer appears."
