Status of OpenDocument specification
------------------------------------
OASIS has issued a press release announcing the ratification of
OpenDocument as an OASIS standard


General Topics
--------------
Florian Reuter from Sun Microsystems has joined the TC as a prospective
member.

Michael requested a leave of 3 weeks starting June, the 13th. The TC 
agreed to the leave and that Lars will chair the TC calls
during that period.


Proposals
---------
The following proposals have been posted to the mailing list and were
discussed in the conference call:

1. "Borders as Text Properties" (David Faure)

If a border starts where another ends, the two bordered rectangles will 
be merged. The TC agreed not to add an attribute that allows a different
behavior until this is requested.

The TC unanimously accepted the proposal.

2. "Linking Form Controls to Table Cells" (Michael Brauer)

The proposal mentioned an attribute named 'selection-indexes'. This is
to be renamed 'selection-index'. With this change, the TC unanimously
accepted the proposal.
