This could indeed be quite useful, thanks for that.

Two comments:

The "@" syntax is for attributes, right? This should be documented since it's not obvious
to a reader who wouldn't know OpenDocument yet.

Why is there nothing in <style:graphic-properties> ? Neither attributes nor child elements.
