First, this is of course a particularly biased interpretation of the
language of the metadata proposal.

Second, this is not a Sun position. It's a consensus of the TC, and I
heard support for this from engineers from KOffice and IBM as well.
You weren't at that meeting, nor at any of the others, so I'm not
surprised by the oversight.
