I am documenting the factg that one problem Thorsten's original proposal was intended to correct also occurs in the earlier specifications (and that's where the problem was noticed, in fact).

I am not suggesting that you need to do anything about the older specifications [;<).  I will be more careful how I word such connections in future notes.

There is nothing to do.  Knowing where to find the earlier text might be useful to observers.

Actually not. If we had unlimited time to revisit ODF 1.0 and 1.1 we 
could track changes in ODF 1.2 that could be applied to those versions. 
Unfortunately, I don't have that sort of time so I would prefer to talk 
about corrections to ODF 1.2 going forward.
