Ed. Note We don't say how a control gets into "tristate mode." This is the only occurrence of that term. The final sentence: "This value may, for instance, be used in connection with a database field binding to indicate that the value is NULL." isn't relevant. Does providing a setting value of "unknown" make a control in tristate mode?
