Seems like what I want is rejection of the input. Auto-correction seems rather iffy.
How about:
(first sentence as is, then)
The defined values for the form:validation attribute are:
true: invalid content is not allowed during input
false: invalid content is allowed during input

I may still be missing the semantics of this attribute.
