Wouldn't it be useful to use conformance language here. (That is, one *may* be used, the other *should* be used -- perhaps noted in both places).
Also, what if both are used or is that not possible under the grammar? Is there any impact on searching for default formatting properties?
PS: Since this is marked as resolved, why are we still discussing resolution? Was that premature?
