<style:style> in <office:master-page>

Hi,

while checking

http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE-619

I've noticed that <style:master-page> elements may contain a 
<style:style> element. This seems to be an error to me, but before 
suggesting to remove this from the schema, I want to check if anyone 
knows why we have this in the schema.
