I agree to removal in 4.9 Reference List.
I didn't accept the changes of draft18 in 3.8 ReferenceList so far but added some comments instead:
I agree to removing the "many statistical functions" part, but shouldn't we allow the SUM() and COLUMNS() examples as a note for clarification?
Same for the ABS() example.
Rephrase as "Passing a reference list in such cases *shall* generate an error."?
