I recommend replacing the last paragraph ("A field selector that selects a non-existent field is an error. Office-2348") with:

"All functions that accept a field parameter shall, when evaluated, return an error if the selected field does not exist."

Boldface the "shall" above.

While we're at it, in 3.10.8, the second paragraph "Implementations" should say "Evaluators".
