Some additional comments:
1) Gnumeric's ACCRINT isn't really implemented, it returns the value for ACCRINTM (so at this time there is no point to look there.)
2) Excel 2007's ACCRINT has another optional boolean argument calc_method that defaults to TRUE. If calc_method is TRUE it claims to calculate teh interest from teh issue date, if it is false only from teh last coupon date.
