19.396 presentation:effect - move-short - "is clipped to its final bounding rectangle" ?

Sorry, "clipped" in this context is not meaningful to me. Could mean "limited to" but a bounding rectangle is always a limit so why repeat? 

Can someone suggest a meaning for "clipped?"
