PS: It would be useful to provide a style for the no-line-beginning case, of course, since the style could pass with the document in an interoperable manner.  

I guess it depends on where the line is for concluding this is a defect or simply a feature request.

And my comment remains that there are already ways for a document to convey control using Unicode layout-influencing capabilities, in contrast to having nothing available at all.
