It says somewhere that the assumed carrier for OpenFormula is in XML attribute or element values, with the main assumption being attribute values.
There are limitations on the allowed [Unicode] characters that can be conveyed in that manner.
Perhaps it should be a Note, that when OpenFormula is carried in an XML attribute or element there are limitations on the [Unicode] characters of text values that can be conveyed in that manner?
(I note that OpenFormula does not provide a separate escape mechanism for encoding the characters that XML doesn't tolerate by means that XML supportes.)
