I'm not sure that we have decided whether ODF-Next is ODF 1.3 
(backwards-compatible release) or ODF 2.0 (a more ambitious update).  The 
reason I called it "ODF-Next" originally was to avoid taking a stand on 
that question.

But I suppose we can only defer that decision for so long...
