Motion to certify that all schema and XML instances included in theODF 1.2 specification are valid

Hi,

    

    while working on the text for the OASIS standard submission of ODF
    1.2, I've noticed that there is one additional item required.

    

    According to section 3.4.1 of the OASIS TC process[1], we need a

    

    "(c) Certification by the TC that all schema and XML instances
    included in the specification, whether by inclusion or reference,
    including fragments of such, are well formed, and that all
    expressions are valid;"

    

    To meet this requirement, and since we won't have a TC call on
    Monday, I make a motion for the following electronic ballot:

    

    "Shall the TC certify that all schema and XML instances included in
    the OpenDocument v1.2 CS01 specification, whether by inclusion or
    reference, including fragments of such, are well formed, and that
    all expressions are valid"

    

    I will set up the ballot as soon as my motion has been seconded.

    

    Please note that we need this certification only after the Candidate
    OASIS Standard ballot for ODF 1.2 has been closed. Since that ballot
    will be opened next week at earliest, the addition ballot I'm
    requesting will not cause any delays.
