Resigning as Co-Chair of ODF TC

Dear TC members,

in the last months my main work focus
has been changed away from office document standards. It becomes more and
more harder for me to spend the needed resources on ODF, especially on
the tasks as a ODF TC's Co-Chair.

Therefore, I am resigning as ODF TC
Co-Chair becoming a regular TC member. For a smooth transition I am keeping
the Co-Chair role for the next four weeks (until 2015-06-12) or until a
new Co-Chair has been elected.

I am in favor of having two persons
leading the ODF TC. Thus, I already talked to Patrick. He agreed and is
taking over the tasks to get a new Co-Chair elected.

My involvement in ODF since 2006 will
turn out in the future to a lesser extent. To see how we cleared all the
"hurdles" to an ODF 1.2 ISO/IEC standard was one of the biggest
highlights for me. Now, it is a good point for me to hand over my responsibilities
to somebody else.
