testing re-writing math for formatting reasons

Greetings!

Just a sample of the re-writing of Math to include the prose when
standard formatting renders the equations improperly in XHTML (attached).

I left the formula following "and" in the original deliberately so we
can see the difference in the adjacent rendering (new) versus the
horizonal spaced rendering (old).
