Sort data in a range or table

Greetings,

I haven't applied this to a spreadsheet, yet, but I have found an MS
support page on Excel sorting by color.

On a quick skim, it appears the user MUST define a sort order that lies
outside of text/numeric.

Which makes sense, there's no one sort order that would fit all users.

Complicated behavior though.
