RE: [oic] 2009-02-27 SVN Commits by orcmid
Until we resolve the way that SVN commit messages are delivered to the OIC TC, I will endeavor to make at most one commit per day, trusting my local server (which duplexes my working copy) to keep my work safe. So long as I am working alone in the SpecAnalysis/ subtree, the increased risk of collision with someone else's update is minimal. Hopefully, by the time we are using SVN more energetically, the commit-message-glut issue is resolved satisfactorily.

Yesterday I forgot to commit at the end of the day and it is actually easier to remember to do this the next morning, since I know by then the previous day's work has ended [;<). I may continue that practice.

That's the plan.

There were two other commit messages earlier today, and I apologize for that. This was an effort to repair a problem I had with a broken connection between a file in my working copy of the repository and the file in the repository itself. SVN would not allow me to do clean commits until I had resolved that. That effort was successful and I don't expect to put myself in that situation again.
