3 or 4 steps there Luc?
Open it (is it valid, has the application done anything to the content that
we care about),
Display it (what media? needs a profile)
Measure' the displayed content.
Assess the content in some way.
I don't think that can be automated.

If you add, when written to disk as an ODF 'package' it helps?
I can check zip format
I can unzip it.
Check content
Parse XML
Validate XML
run other logic tests on XML
But again you need some sort of profile.
