Adding tables to ODP (presentation) files

Is it possible to add tables to OpenDocument Presentation (.odp) files?
Is this possible in the latest OASIS OpenDocument Specification v1.1
standard?
If so how can i acheive that? 
Do I add it directly to the draw:page element.
