OASIS PR Group members:

OASIS Committees aren't just for developing specifications.

If your organization is investing resources to create one or more OASIS Standards, you should also be working to educate the
marketplace on the importance of these specifications. As members of OASIS, you have the ability to form Committees and
Sub-Committees to promote the adoption of the standards you support.

OASIS currently has Committees, such as the OASIS PKI TC, exclusively devoted to advance adoption by producing white papers for
business and technical audiences, conducting market research, and publishing best practice guidelines. Other OASIS TCs have formed
Sub-Committees to organize interoperability events, secure speaking sessions at conferences, conduct media relations, and compile
adoption reports.

Right now, a discussion list is open to gauge interest in forming an ebXML Adoption Committee to create promotional, explanatory and
marketing materials related to the implementation of ebXML. If you would find value in participating in this, please see

If you would like more information on forming a Committee or Sub-Committee to promote adoption of other OASIS Standards,  please
contact me. Your active participation will ensure that the open standards developed by your organization are recognized and adopted
worldwide.
