Clarification of NameID attributes

Hi,

Could any body please explain the meanings of the following SAML attributes. Please also explain the case when these attributes are used.

- NameQualifier
- SPNameQualifier
- Format
- SPProvidedID

Explanation of the above attributes will be go ahead for me as i am stuck with these attributes.
