"Long Running Request-Response Operations" - Assembly proposal

Folks,

Attached to this note is material relating
to Issue 33 in Assembly - providing facilities for "Long Running Request-Response
Operations".

This proposal in the Assembly specification
is to support services with operations that are Request/Response but which
are long running,

where the response is sent an arbitrary
time after receipt of the request.

This may have impact on both Bindings
and on Implementation languages - so this is the reason why I am sending
the proposal to all the

TCs which are potentially affected.
 Note that there are 2 files - one is the Assembly proposal, while
the other is a sample proposal for 

how this function can be provided in
the Java language.
